“Don’t judge a book by its cover.” Although I’ve been given such advice many times, I have to admit it was the first thing I did after being handed the keys to the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica Limited AWD. Although I was definitely a fan of the vehicle’s gorgeous Marine Blue Pearl Coat exterior, the crossover’s appearance couldn’t help but remind me of a minivan. Being a young college student, it wasn’t exactly the look I was going for.

The 2007 Dodge Caliber R/T could be described as either a mini SUV or a tall wagon; however, it's very much in those family of vehicles. It drives like a premium small car, but you get the impression that it's bigger than it actually is. The result is a vehicle that in many ways looks and functions like both with many hidden features that you do not commonly associate with an economically priced vehicle.

From the outside, the Edge looks smaller than it is. Once you get inside though, you'll be struck to find that the Edge has more room for front and rear passengers than you might have thought. Since I drive a full-size truck, I am used to having a lot of room in the front cabin. Unlike my truck though, the Edge makes very good use of the available space so that it is neither too cramped nor too cavernous.
